B-Determined (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website b-determined.org. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Information We Collect
Information you provide through forms
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message.
Referral form. When you submit a referral, we collect the client’s name, date of birth or age, city, parent/guardian name, phone number, email address, Regional Center status, types of support needed, a description of needs, referring party name and organization, referring party contact information, and preferred contact time.
Both forms also record the language you used (English or Spanish).
Information collected automatically
IP address. When you submit a form, your IP address is recorded for rate-limiting purposes and included in the notification email we receive. IP-based rate-limiting data is stored temporarily in Cloudflare KV and expires automatically within one hour.
Cloudflare Turnstile. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from real people, not automated bots. Turnstile may set cookies and collect limited device and browser information. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare, Inc. For details, see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare infrastructure. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may collect standard web traffic data (such as IP addresses and request headers) as part of its network operations. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.
Information we do not collect
We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising or tracking tools. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry or process your referral
- Contact the individual or family named in a referral to schedule a consultation
- Protect against spam and abuse (via Turnstile and rate limiting)
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the services you requested.
How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with the following service providers, solely to operate this website and respond to your submissions:

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of B-Determined or others.
Data Retention
Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox and retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Rate-limiting data (based on your IP address) is stored temporarily in Cloudflare KV and automatically expires within one hour.
Your Rights

- Request deletion of your personal information
- Know whether your personal information has been disclosed or sold (we do not sell personal information)

Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies when you interact with a form. These cookies are used solely for bot detection and are governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Referral forms may include information about minors, but these forms are intended to be submitted by a parent, guardian, or referring professional — not by the minor themselves.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from this website. Form submissions are processed through Cloudflare Workers and delivered via Resend’s API using encrypted connections. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
